Another morning of waking up to negative bank accounts, negative phone calls, and negative attitudes. How then do I go to work with a positive attitude? Today I can say through prayer and determination, using the coping skills that I’ve learned in therapy, and just knowing that I no longer want to be miserable.
When you are in a good place mentally, you come to realize that there are always going to be negative things that can keep you down, but if you look at the positives that are possible, you keep pushing forward. I choose Peace. I choose positivity. I choose to entertain positive. People can be cruel. There is no wonder so many people feel alone and unloved. I’ve seen many insensitive comments about suicide and mental illness. The sad part is that those making the comments aren’t accepting that they have some mental health issues.
In order for us to stay positive in a negative world, we must be the positivity we seek. As such, I am convinced that finding some positive in every situation is key. This being Day 13, continue to prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of the Christmas holiday season and be the joy and peace that we seek. Leave the negativity to the miserable and allow our positive light to shine. Positive thinking can push us to keep going. We can increase our bank account from negative to positive and we can change the negative mindset of the world too, if we believe.
