With so much negativity in the world, it’s easy to believe that there is nothing more to life than the despair that surrounds us. When we are accustomed to being belittled and berated, it is easy to see nothing other than the misery that lies in front of us. When we BELIEVE in our greatness, we are able to live our lives knowing that better awaits.
This is our 11th Day on our journey to our newness. On this day, as we remove doubt and replace it with BELIEF, we will see doors of opportunity and success continue to open for us. No matter how downtrodden we have been, the power of God can and will restore if we only BELIEVE.
Our belief in God, and our belief in ourselves requires us to open our hearts and minds to new thoughts, opportunities, and actions. When we begin to change our mindset, our attitudes will change as well. When we realize our worth, we remove ourselves from those who fail to see our value.
Oftentimes, our failure to let go of the toxicity in our lives is failing to BELIEVE that we can survive on our own. We have become accustomed to the abuse (emotional and physical), and have therefore become stuck in the darkness. God gives us strength to rise above the affliction. He calls us to trust in our abilities. There is new life that awaits us if we simply believe in Him and the purpose He has planned for our lives.
At the end of this Lenten journey, there is a New Season that awaits. There will be a new us. All we have to do is BELIEVE…BELIEVE IN GOD…BELIEVE IN OURSELVES.
