Wow! All day, every message has been to keep praising Him…even in the midst of my circumstances, all I can do is give God praise. Not feeling well this morning, my sinuses acting up, I had to drag myself from bed. Logging on to praise and worship with my Queens Tribe Community of sisters, my girlfriend inspired me to drag myself up and truly praise God in spite of. As I Showered, I listened to Ricky Dillard‘s LIFTER OF MY HEAD. I couldn’t stop praising and thanking God for His grace and mercy.
As I wondered what my FB live would be about as I drove to church, the song EVERY PRAISE came on the radio, and all I could do was shout! God, once again, spoke to me in my darkness and reminded me that He has placed a purpose in me that no man can redirect.
On this 12th Day of Lent, I realize that praise is a tool needed for this journey. Praising God through the good and bad, and for what He has already done. Arriving at church, and the service speaking to me confirmed that my message aligns with the word of God. For that, I am thankful.
As we add praise to the tools on our lenten journey, may we be forever mindful that God has our back and He is in control. If we remember that we can work toward peace and a better relationship God, and each other. Let’s continue to praise our way through.
