Happy Sunday! Can you believe that it’s already the third Sunday of Lent, and Day 19 of our Lenten Journey? It seems like only yesterday that we began our change for NEW in our New Lenten Season. Today’s message was from the Gospel of John, and The Woman at the Well. My pastor’s homily focused on the change that took place within the Samaritan woman simply from her conversing with Jesus. With all that I stress daily, communication is what I stress the most. Hearing my pastor preach the message that speaks to me is further confirmation that my message aligns with the word of God.
Communication is a major and essential tool as we navigate through our Lenten Journey. It can hurt and/or hinder our relationships with others as we attempt to connect and build relationships. If we are to truly take this journey as a path in the right direction, the communication must be open, effective, and it has to actually take place. We often fail to listen to others, thinking that communication is only verbal. As we continue to build and strengthen our relationships, I pray that we open our hearts and minds to all that God has for us. May we grow, learn, and become new beings through communicating. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!
