Unexpected Angels

When we least expect it, God sends us unexpected angels. Those are the people in our lives who are there just because. They are the people whom we seem to be drawn to and you click automatically; the attraction is simple. The special thing about unexpected angels 😇 is that God sends them when He knows that you need them. When you have unexpected angels in your life, YOU ARE BLESSED.

In order to even be able to truly experience having great people in my life, I have had to suffer many disappointments and heartbreaks. This is because it takes vulnerability and transparency on my part to allow myself to get close to others. I have had to be different…stand-alone…go against the grain. Standing alone is never easy; yet it is necessary. Standing alone has given me the opportunity to help others in their time of need and it has allowed me to build great friendships that wouldn’t have been possible while following the crowd. Trusting God, I have always been genuine with others and have gotten to know people for myself. This has allowed me to meet some amazing people. When we DARE TO BE DIFFERENT, we attract genuine people…unexpected angels who don’t seek anything in return, and they are real…their hearts are pure. I am grateful for my unexpected angels 😇. Without them, only God knows, where I would be.

On this 24th day of Lent, I’m thankful that my angel 😇 showed up unexpectedly. After such a great; yet tiring week, today had been horrible. My angel prevented it from worsening and allowed it to get better. I will never stop believing in the power of prayer. I will never lose faith in God because He shows up by sending His unexpected angels. My angel is different. I am different. Different is not a bad thing. Different means that despite the hurt, turmoil, abuse, mistreatment, and hate that is often shown, we still heal, bring peace, care for, cater to, and love.

I DARE TO BE DIFFERENT because I know that there is love in the world and I want to open my heart to both give and receive love. I want to help others to see that it is ok to be different. I have to share with those I love, those who support me. I must let them know that life is difficult for us all. Our youth and young adults must know that we are praying for them, we are here for them, and we love them. I must be a testimony to my young queens that they are amazing, beautiful and worth it. I am confident that God is pleased because He keeps sending His unexpected angels. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT and maybe you’ll receive or be an unexpected angel too.

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
