Know when to say NO!

36 Days in. I have been focusing on trying to be positive. Truthfully, the positivity has sometimes been draining it seems. Then today, I realized that it wasn’t the positivity that was draining. After much thought and even more drama, I realized that it’s miserable ass people who are draining. It’s the refusal of people to want others to be at peace that is draining.

MISERY REALLY LOVES COMPANY, and no matter how much you attempt to be positive, no matter how much you attempt to bring insight, peace, and hope, it’s an impossible task when blocked by misery.

God is telling me to save my energy for those who are open to positive thoughts and change. On this final leg of my lenten journey, I am focusing on protecting my peace and leaving the miserable people to themselves. We have to let those people go even when they disguise themselves as family and friends.

Today, God said I must KNOW WHEN TO SAY NO! He said that I cannot force peace on miserable people. Today, I say no, and leave miserable people to their own company and allow my peace to flourish.
