Yall just don’t know why my faith is as strong as it is. I had to pray hard this morning because there is something truly bothering me. It is taking alot for me to not go off on some people. My faith is being tested.
I DESPISE WHEN PEOPLE LIE OR DISTORT THE TRUTH FOR THEIR BENEFIT. I had a long conversation with someone this morning and decided that I AM DONE. My time is much too valuable to spend on people who don’t value it. My worth is far beyond what I feel I recieve from people who simply want nothing more than to serve themselves rather than others. SO I PRAYED 
…I PONDERED…
And then I read this passage:
The Broken Movement Trust
“DON’T ARGUE WITH DONKEYS
The donkey said to the tiger:
– “The grass is blue”.
– “No, the grass is green.”
The discussion heated up, and the two decided to submit him to arbitration, and for this they went before the lion, the King of the Jungle.
Already before reaching the forest clearing, where the lion was sitting on his throne, the donkey began to shout:
– “His Highness, is it true that the grass is blue?”.
The lion replied:
– “True, the grass is blue.”
The donkey hurried and continued:
– “The tiger disagrees with me and contradicts and annoys me, please punish him.”
The king then declared:
– “The tiger will be punished with 5 years of silence.”
The donkey jumped cheerfully and went on his way, content and repeating:
– “The Grass Is Blue”…
The tiger accepted his punishment, but before he asked the lion:
– “Your Majesty, why have you punished me?, after all, the grass is green.”
The lion replied:
– “In fact, the grass is green.”
The tiger asked:
– “So why are you punishing me?”.
The lion replied:
– “That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is not possible for a brave and intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with a donkey, and on top of that come and bother me with that question.”
The worst waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who does not care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on arguments that don’t make sense… There are people who, no matter how much evidence and evidence we present to them, are not in the capacity to understand, and others are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and all they want is to be right even if they are not.
When ignorance screams, intelligence is silent. Your peace and quiet are worth more!”
After reading this passage several times, I decided that I won’t waste another ounce of energy on people who are simply incapable of empathy or compassion…people who lie to and on you, yet get upset because you refuse to buy in to their bs. When I read this, it was if God said STOP WASTING YOUR BREATH on them. Stop allowing them to use your passion against you. See, when you fail to be a doormat, those who want to be in control, use your ability to stand up for yourself against you. They like to say you are controlling or want to take charge. They are upset that you have a voice and won’t be silent when injustice takes place. THEY ARE FOOLS. Don’t be a fool with them. Be silent 
.
God is telling me to be silent. I am weak in this area; not needing to be right, but needing things to be done in fairness and love. I’m going to ask God for strength to control my tounge and TRY to stay on the path HE, not man, has purposed for me. I don’t know if I am up for the challenge because I have little patience for anything that threatens my peace, but I am going to try.
Some people only WANT TO SEE things from their perspective because seeing it any other way causes them to see the ugliness in them that they try to blame on you. Let them be the fool. You just be intentional and SILENT. THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL.
