Where is the LOVE

As I continue, day by day, to listen to the horror stories from men, women and children of various races, religions and nationalities, it becomes clearer to me how sick this world really is. In addition, I become more saddened, yet further determined, to fix this broken thing. The lack of love…concern…care…that is shown toward each other…HAS TO CHANGE. Where is the love for one another, our neighbor…NOT JUST OUR SISTER OR BROTHER?

Why can’t we treat one another with peace? Im referring to our co workers, not only those we rock with, just be adults and allow others to work in peace. There are many adult men and women, who are being bullied in their daily lives; yet they are afraid to discuss it. Right now, someone is reading this and is either an adult bully or a victim of this cruelty. While our children are being bullied, so are some grown adults, yet many are afraid to discuss it.

When you hear about it, it’s almost laughable to think that in 2023 grown people are afraid to attend work, they cry in the bathroom stalls, fear losing their jobs etc. all because of bullying. It’s laughable not because it’s humorous, but because of the absurdity of it all. What adults conduct themselves in such an agregious way? The answer is MANY, and it happens DAILY. Many adults; men and women are bullied at work, school, in social circles, and yes, EVEN CHURCH. Yes! There are bullies in our church pews.

The disgusting part is not that this is happening. After all, to err is human; however, it is disgusting that the act of bullying, especially in the workplace and in the church, is commonplace and it regularly goes unaddressed by those put in place to lead. This is sad and completely unacceptable, and it is time that we stop allowing the enemy to win. When we, as God’s people do not stand up for the mistreatment that takes place against another we too, are guilty of inflicting pain on others through bullying, harassment and mistreatment. We cannot continue to turn a blind eye to the injustices that take place against others.

Everyone deserves to work in a place of peace. We all deserve to attend, and participate in our extracurricular activities without being bullied or cast aside. Finally, and foremost, our places of worship should NEVER make us feel less than, small, unwelcome, unwanted, or unloved, and should never be an institution of exclusion. Moreover, when the leaders of these places fail to protect those being bullied, they too, are just as guilty of the bullying.

IT IS TIME TO STOP BEING BYSTANDERS AND START BEING GATEKEEPERS. Too many people are losing their battle with mental illness at the hands of those people, places, things, and systems that are put in place to help them; yet they are failing. Where is the love that binds us and insist that the systems are function properly? When will enough be enough before we stand united and refuse to allow adult bullying to continue to be the norm? How many more people have to lose a life before you say IT’S TIME TO SPEAK UP.

ADULT BULLIES HAVE MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS. FIX IT TODAY 😒 🙄

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
