WATCH OUT NOW!

On this HUMP DAY, WEDNESDAY, my motto was WATCH OUT FOR WHAT’S NEXT! During the last two months, as I struggled, and continue to struggle through a difficult and very barren season of my life, I have repeatedly prayed for God to show me His purpose for my life. This has been my question for as long as I can remember. I have asked this question a multitude of times. I’ve done this even more since the demise of my marriage. Thinking I had found it, yet still unsuccessful, I continue to ask this same question.

Today, after repeated prayer and supplication, I finally have decided to truly place my trust in God. I have prayed, given my cares to Him, taken my hands out of it, and simply began to WATCH HIM WORK. After laying all of my fears and burdens at God’s feet, my faith has carried me through each day. My stress has been less, my mood has been lighter, and I have had the strength to face each day with a purpose.

Although life’s disappointments still exist, I no longer allow them to determine my attitude. I use them to propel me forward, and I continue to allow my experiences to encourage others to keep believing in the power of prayer. This life is everything but easy, but if we use our trials as stepping stones rather than set backs, we can always come out better than we started. All we have to do is wait and WATCH GOD WORK. I can’t help but be excited about what’s next!

Mind, Body, Spirit

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!

Defy the Stigma!

Published by dyingtobeperfect1926

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
