Happy Sunday!!!!! What an amazing ending and new beginning! Last week began really difficult for me. The dark hole completey enveloped me. Another relationship ended with someone I cared about, there were more disappointments involving things I could not control, work was horrible, and additional friends were struggling. For several days, I could barely breathe.
Today, though my struggles still exist, since last week, I have met new people, my friends are making progress, I’m making progress with new employment and I’m finding a way to allow the focus to always remain on the good. Today, as I begin anew, I have allowed others to speak positivity into me. I have moved beyond my hurt. I am awaiting my breakthrough. I urge you to release all that binds you, and allow today to be the first day for a new start. No matter how badly you feel, YOU are ENOUGH for God.
You are in control of what you want for your life. Do what YOU WANT. If it’s not hurting someone else, it’s not their business. Stop telling women they are nothing, if they choose not to marry and have children. Stop telling men they have to have a wife. Stop telling married couples they have to have children. Stop telling women they have to cook, or a man he is lazy, if he stays home and the woman works. Stop defining gender roles for others, based on the role you see for yourself. Stop telling others what to do with their lives. Worry about your own happiness and you won’t have time to worry about anyone else’s.
It is ok to have standards. Don’t let anyone tell you that you are not smart enough…pretty enough…skinny enough…light enough, worthy enough…to be loved. You are perfect just as you are. You are ENOUGH for God. All of the mistakes you’ve made, are what proves how forgiving God is. No matter how mean the people in this world can be, I’m with you. I’m rooting for you, fighting with you, and praying, that together, we can make a difference. Remember, even when it seems that you’re not enough for anyone else, you’re always enough for God.
BE FREE…BE UNAPOLOGETIC…BE YOU…BE TRANSPARENT…
