Love ❤️ and Christmas

What a long, yet beautiful day Christmas, 2023 turned out to be. More importantly, I’m glad that after all of the hype, it’s finally over. WHEW!!!! I can say, that thankfully, after all that I have been through this past year; especially over the last few weeks, this has been one of my best Christmases within the past fifteen years. To think, I’d almost given up on the holidays, succumbed to my depression, and simply sheltered in place until all of the hype was over.

I am thankful that I was able to hold on to my faith. During the extremely dark times, my faith is what prevented me from giving up. I kept praying…kept believing…kept hoping, and God showed up, and showed out. Now, don’t misunderstand me. Christmas was not as hyped, nor as exciting as it has been in past years. It was, however, more enjoyable, than I anticipated. I felt love, and because I was in a good place mentally, I was able to reciprocate love. More importantly, I felt a sense of peace. This beautiful experience that I had on Christmas 2023, gave me hope for Christmases to come. It proved to me that even in the midst of loss, the evil in the world, chaos, and financial challenges, when God is in the midst, and we focus on the true purpose of this beautiful holiday, it is possible to experience true joy.

Anyone who experienced this positivity on yesterday, should be thankful for what God is doing. It is a sign of all of the positive changes coming in 2024 and beyond. Even with the remnants of our broken pieces, HOPE, PEACE, JOY,and LOVE are possible because Christ was born on Christmas Day; He comes to save us. We are called to carry around those same virtues and live them out in our daily lives, as we seek to hope, have peace, joy, and love on Christmas and beyond. No matter how dark the path becomes let’s never forget the capabilities of God, as we continue to press through to 2024.

GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I ❤️

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
