I said goodbye to a dear friend today. He was truly, Heaven sent. His family laid him to rest beautifully. The outpouring of love, and the words of encouragement were beautiful. Donald, was truly, a loving man, and a great friend. I will forever remember the love and support he showed during my darkness. I will be eternally greatful that his wife loved me enough, to allow him to show me grace and love. That is what being a ‘woman of God’, a Proverbs 31 Woman is about. The support I received from his family during my darkness was God’s work. The relationships that have developed from that darkness, is also God’s work. God is in everything good, and Donald was good. Together, he and Tee brought good to the lives of many. My heart is greatful.
Months ago, I remember asking Donald “how are you, how have you been”? “Do you need anything “? He humbly replied, “I’m blessed . I’m good. Don’t worry about me, just take care of you”. He had his own storm brewing, yet he was still concerned about my world 🌎 and the world of others. There aren’t very many people out here who offer that type of love. My heart is heavy, but not for long, because I’m thankful to have had Donald as a friend in Christ, and I know that he is at rest with his Heavenly Father. Tee, Nicole and Tyneshia, I love you all, and I am here for whatever, and whenever. Thank you for allowing your angel to be a beautiful part of my story.
We have to remember how short our time on earth really is. We have to learn to say ” I’m sorry“. We must treasure those people who come into our lives to pour, without ever looking for anything other than love; these types of people are rare. I’ve been blessed to have many of these angels in my life, and I will never take them for granted. People can stand up and say many things about us when we are gone, but we must be kind, generous and loving ❤️ so that the things they say will be truthful.
“MAY THE WORK I’VE DONE, SPEAK FOR ME”.
Life is short. The time is now, let’s start living and loving ❤️.
GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I
