I now know that I’m officially old. MY EYES ARE OLD😂😂🤣🤣…I cannot see at night. I’m Driving 20mph, and horns are blaring at me because I’m moving at a snails pace. When the rain is added to the mix…nope! NOT GONNA WORK. The way God’s people run out in traffic…at night…in the dark…eyes closed…on the phone, it’s a definite that these old eyes would not see auntie, June bug and Sallie Mae or Susie Q. That’s a disaster in the making. 😂😂🤣SO tonight, I’m missing my girls party. Lakell Nelson, enjoy yourself, and dance for me. I WAS GONNA TURN UP TOO. Oh well, I guess I’m gonna turn down, and rest these old eyes for cheeeerrrch tomorrow. Can’t wait to see you Monique Nikki.
On a serious note, whatever plans you missed today because of the weather, don’t be disappointed or upset. Be greatful, that you are still able to make plans. Some people didn’t go out tonight because they have no money, they’re sick, they have nowhere to go or plans to make. There are those who have no friends, and some who are all alone.
At some point, we have to look at the bigger picture and realize, that there’s a reason for all things. We have to learn to find the brighter side in every situation. I was disappointed that I didn’t go out as planned, however, I found joy and thankfulness, in the fact, that I’m feeling well enough to do so. All week, I could barely get out of bed. JUST FEELING WELL, IS ENOUGH FOR ME. For that, I am greatful. When we are greatful even in the disappointments, life becomes much more worth living. When we appreciate the things that can be easily taken for granted, we find peace, and we can experience joy.
Take time on this night inside, to tell God how thankful you are, in spite of your disappointments. Let Him know, that even in the midst of your struggles, you appreciate what He’s already done, and you have hope that He’s already fixed it. Until tomorrow, goodnight.
