This weather keeps changing. Like the weather, we too, must continue to change, but for better. Reflecting as I often do, I realized three things. 1. I needed to change some things. 2. I am proud of my change thus far. 3. I still have more changes to make. My changes haven’t happened like the weather, OVERNIGHT…BACK AND FOURTH, they have taken place gradually. My changes sometimes falter, however, they are real, intentional, and for a purpose.
To my brothers and sisters: I simply want to encourage you. Whatever you decide to do today, wherever you are in your life, or on your journey, be open to change. Be able to self reflect, and gradually, make the needed change in you, so that you are able to fulfill the purpose God has for your life. If things seem to be in turmoil, discearn what God is speaking to you. Understand that sometimes He sits us down so that we can listen to Him.
I had to comprehend that my Barren Season wasn’t about me. It was about God. We must go through our Barren Season in order to get to our purpose. I know it seems as if it’s taking forever, but don’t get discouraged. There is no time limit on what God can do. It’s never too late to fulfill dreams, find love, find Christ, have children, change your life, or fulfill your purpose. Only you and God determine your limits.
Let’s continue to change. Let today be your day of change. Unlike the weather, keep going in a positive direction. If the storms begin to brew, allow God to guide you. Instead of allowing the storms to turn into rain, follow the footsteps of God’s plan that is leading to your Prayerful Purpose. HAVE A SPECTACULAR SATURDAY!!!
