The World Needs a Little More Church

It’s already July 21st, and we’re nearing the month of July. As I sat and reflected this morning, I realized that I’ve spent more of my time indoors, than I have completing the goals I’ve set. Since April, I’ve only completed 2.5 of the 10 goals I’ve set, and we’re more than halfway through the year. Due to Covid, I’ve missed the first two Sundays of church, in this month. Today, when I awakened, church was over. Including today, three weeks in a row, I’ve missed church, and the entire month of July. This bothers me, because I realized long ago, that I NEED CHURCH. I can pray at home and listen to gospel music, I can watch mass online, but I NEED CHURCH…THE BUILDING…THE FELLOWSHIP…THE WORSHIP…THE SERVICE…THE LOVE.

From all of the evil that is taking place, THE WORLD NEEDS A LITTLE MORE CHURCH…GOD…PRAYER…LOVE. From the car jackings and robberies, to the murders of our youth and elderly, we can use A LITTLE MORE CHURCH. The need for prayer in our world, is clear in the hate that is shown through bullying and degradation from day to day. The lack of love within our churches, families, workplaces, and communities, shows that THE WORLD NEEDS A LITTLE MORE CHURCH.

As I navigate through the remainder of my day, I pray that all goes well. I look forward to a great week ahead. I know that there will be challenges, but I am confident that God will equip me with all that I need to overcome whatever I face. I pray that Next Sunday will have me in church, because there is no doubt in my mind, that I NEED A LITTLE MORE CHURCH in my life.

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
