Today, I broke a HEART

Today, I PRAYED

Today, I shed a TEAR

Today, I PRAYED

Today, I SMILED

Today, I PRAYED

Today, I WALKED away

Today, I PRAYED

Today, I CHOSE ME

Today, after years of setbacks, heartbreaks, heartaches, struggles, losses, and disappointments, I put me first. I set aside all of my fears, worries, and doubt. Today, I listened to God; I trusted in Him, and today, I stood on my faith.

Today, even as I embark on a journey of the unknown, I am excited about tomorrow. Today, for the first time, I did something selfish. Today, I took my life back. Today, as I head down Interstate 81, I am finally looking forward, to all that God has planned for me. Today, I begin to leave a legacy. Today, I leave this heartache, frustration, all that was trying to disturb my peace…steal my joy…extinguish my flame. Today, I chose, me

From this day forward:

I will Pray

I will listen

I will have FAITH

I will be FAITHFUL

I will SERVE

I will continue to do all that God calls me to do, But most of all, Today and all of the days after, I will choose me, I will choose Joy, and I will LIVE. I’m not concerned about what tomorrow brings. I am living my life for TODAY!
