HOPE Will Get Us Through

It’s Wednesday. We’re in Day 4 of Advent, and on Day 6, of Christmas preparation for 2024. Unfortunately, after a few immunizations on yesterday, I am feeling unwell today. I’ve been unmotivated, fatigued, and in some pain. I was warned of the side effects, therefore, I am not too concerned. I have hope, that I’ll feel better within the next forty eight hours.

As I write this, I realize that I wasn’t feeling well enough, to write my motivational post on Facebook, or go live, today. Because I know how difficult it is for me to bounce back, I decided to push through, and get something done. Finally, I pushed through anyway, so I simply want to encourage you to keep going. No matter what the issue may be, we have to push through, in order to enjoy the beauty, of this time of year.

Whether rich or poor, healthy or ill, working or unemployed, married or single…no matter what our circumstances may be, we must look to God for the motivation to keep pushing through. This 1st week of Advent, Jesus gives us HOPE. Because of this hope, we are able to see the possibilities, of what is awaiting us.

As of today, we have been preparing for Christmas for five days. On Day 6, I challenge everyone, to prepare their Christmas card list. Writing Christmas cards, will add to our positive, and hopeful mood, as we push through the holiday season.

As I create my list, I will focus on those who have experienced recent loss, who are grieving, who are financially struggling, and especially, those who are alone. Developing this list gives me excitement, as I remember the joyful times of the past, and reach out to others, I many not have contactedrecently. We can experience these good times again, by reaching out to others who need a boost for the holidays.

I challenge all of us to stay focused, and Push Through whatever obstacles come. Let’s stay afloat, and with determination, continue to do, all of the preparation we can, to push each other through. When we pull together, we have a better chance, at giving us all, the opportunity to have the Joyful Christmas that God intended for each of us.

If any day’s challenge wasn’t, it’s ok to catch up.

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
