A Letter to Our YOUTH

To the young adults, both male and female, I apologize. I apologize for the behavior you see coming from some of us adult men and women. I apologize for the bad example some display in tearing others down. I apologize that some of you have been victimized due to the lack of care and concern you’ve received from some of my peers. I apologize to those of you who have been parentified. I apologize for the poor example you have been shown when it comes to resolving conflict. You’ve had poor examples to show how to love, care for and support others. You haven’t been shown healthy examples of relationships, friendships and family. You’ve been taught that name calling, bullying, harassment, and simply defaming, slandering and sabotaging each other is the way to succeed. We’ve failed, as a majority, to show you how to be loyal and loving. For some reason, we haven’t shown the real value of love and relationships. My prayer to you, young adults, is that you look past the bad examples that you’ve been shown, and be better. Understand that being loyal is Top Tier. Being loving is what we are called to do, and adding to the well-being of others is important. I can’t change what you’ve been experiencing, but I can be an example. I can work on my peers to do better. Know that love, loyalty, friendships and support are important qualities to have. Understand that jealousy and back stabbing are of the enemy. I urge you to work toward uplifting others, and operate out of love and a pure heart. Men, value the women you encounter, and refrain from calling them derogatory names and belittling them. Women, stop tearing down our men, and allow them to love you. Remember that no one deserves to be mistreated; especially when you don’t know their story.

As you continue throughout your days unitl Christmas, allow the spirit of God to fill you with hope, peace, joy and love, and breathe in the true meaning of Christmas. My hope, is that you all teach my peers to get it right in 2025. May you, our youth, be the example of what peace on earth looks like, as we prepare to love one another, heal one another, and truly show how together, we all can have more. TOGETHER, LET’S HEAL

On behalf of my peers, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
