Joy THIEVES

It’s finally Christmas. After all of the anticipation, the day is finally here. After all of the preparation and decorating some of us have done, the Christmas parties some of us have attended, and all of the gifts we have purchased, there are still many people who will continue to be Joy Thieves in this season. Forgetting what this season is really about, many people allow the stress from the world’s expectations, to Steal their JOY.

Too many of us are guilty, of allowing the world to take the JOY that Christ gives; others are guilty of projecting their misery onto others. These JOY THEIVES, for far too long, have negatively impacted the experience of Christmas, for far too many of us. Many of us have spent too much time in Holiday GRIEF, that we failed to experience the HOLIDAY JOY. We must refuse to allow the evil of this world, to take from us, what it has not given. The anger, hatred, loss, sorrow, despair, etc. cannot continue to overshadow the HOPE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE that we so fully deserve.

Many years ago, I was guilty of being a JOY THIEF at Christmas; allowing the world to dictate my experience. Once I allowed Christ to lead me, no matter what my situation may be, no matter who is gone, I focus on the HOPE. PEACE, JOY, and LOVE that this day truly brings. You too, can experience a magnificent holiday, if only you avoid the JOY THIEVES.

Whatever you do today, do not lose sight of what this day brings. Most of all, don’t be a JOY THIEF, and for once, finally open your heart to LOVE, PEACE, HOPE and JOY. WE all deserve it.

Merry Christmas!

CHOOSE JOY. DARE TO HOPE. BRING PEACE. SHOW LOVE.

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
