Tomorrow’s Not Promised

My baby girl is a flight attendant. Thankfully, she doesn’t work for American Airlines. Nonetheless, I worry about her each time she has to fly. In the middle of the night, (after midnight) I received several messages, asking if she was ok. At the time, I was unaware of what happened with the plane crash. When I saw the story on the news, my heart immediately sank, as I empathized with the families of the victims. My daughter fails to understand why I always want her to stay in contact with me, while she’s working; This tragedy is exactly why. I am greatful that my baby is safe, and I pray for every family that mourns. I pray that hearts, minds, and spirits are comforted as they seek answers about why such a tragedy has happened. I am thankful to everyone who thought about THE GIRL’S well being, and I ask that you continue to keep her, all flight crews, and travelers, in your prayers, as they travel.

As I type this, I shed tears. The realization that life is really short, and that tomorrow isn’t promised, really hits home. Last night’s tragedy, further confirms, that we must live justly each day, and show love to all we meet. Nothing…not one thing…can be taken for granted. Each moment we are alive, we must spend it being happy, loving, and bringing others peace. It’s time to be so busy living, that we don’t have time to die.

GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
