It Was A Weekend To Remember

What a great weekend this was.

I am proud of my growth over these past six years. Although I’m nowhere near where I used to be, I’ve grown. Mentally, physically, and spiritually, I’m constantly healing.

Each day, I do something different. I’ve been staying busy, in order to smoothly, navigate through the difficult times, without allowing them to break me. Serving others, relaxing alone, and enjoying friends, fellowship, and worship, is what I enjoy; a mixture of everything, prevents me from succumbing to depression.

This weekend, I was happy for the basics. Handling business, spending time out with friends, relaxing alone, simple fun and laughter, I thouroughly enjoyed every aspect of my weekend. Making it even better, I ended the weekend by going to church. Although I was beginning to feel unwell, God gave me strength to keep pushing. It was essential for me to show thanks to God for all He is doing in my life. Thankfully, I was able to attend mass, and it was a great place to be.

Everything, big or small, good or bad, that God enables me to experience, I AM BLESSED AND THANKFUL FOR. I have learned to enjoy the good times, and gracefully, navigate through the challenging times. My journey proves that I am favored by God. It’s not conceit. It’s confidence.

Have a great night, and continue striving to be the best version of you.

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
