Today was a good day. I was motivated, on this last day, and last Monday of the month, to keep pushing through the day. For the first two hours of the day, I was anxious about my doctor’s visit. Even with the ‘not so great ‘ news, I was motivated to use the beauty of the this Spring day, to enjoy another day of life.
As I worked harder in PT, to increase my endurance, and improve my strength, I ignored the pain, and negative thoughts, and focused on my well-being. For my health, I must stay motivated. I’m determined to live for as long as I can, and receive all that God has for me. He has an amazing life for each of us, if we simply, have faith and stay motivated.
Although tired from an early, and busy, start to my day, motivation enabled me to push through my need for a nap, and accept an invitation for a date. The call from my sister friend, to spend the day with her and watching my Orioles, brightened my day, and allowed me to soak in the beauty of Spring, while enjoying a spontaneous date with my BFF (Friend dates are important), camaraderie with other fans, most importantly, getting much needed Vitamin D from the sun. I’m glad that I was able to stay motivated.
As I sit here now, I’m thankful. Today was a beautiful day. It was fun, drama free, and peaceful. I did something meaningful. I spent a beautiful afternoon loving on my friend. We shared, we laughed, we even cried a little. Above everything, we had fun, and confirmed the importance of friendship, friendship dates, sisterhood, transparency, faith, and definitely, the importance of motivation. Thank you, Tess Bradford, for motivating me today. This forty one years of sisterly love, has been interesting, I’ll love you forever, and I’m looking forward to growing old with you.
To everyone reading this, I wish you happiness, prosperity, love, and don’t forget, MOTIVATION!
GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I.
