Vitamin D And ME

Happy Mental Health Awareness Month

Day15: Vitamin D and Mental Health

Studies show, that a deficiency in Vitamin D may contribute to symptoms of depression and anxiety. Especially in menopausal women, Vitamin D is extremely important. From personal experience, a lack of Vitamin D can cause feel lethargy, extreme fatigue and a lack of motivation.

If you often have little energy, find little joy in activities, are always sleeping or in bed, try getting more sunlight; which produces Vitamin D.

When I am struggling with low energy, I go outside for fresh air and sun; I always feel better afterwards. The more sun our bodies get, the better our minds feel.

Whatever you do today, catch some Vitamin D.

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
