A SPOT OF TEA

Today was a beautiful day…A clear, breezy, sunny, Sunday afternoon. This was the perfect day FOR A SPOT OF TEA. During the planning process, and the days leading up to today’s event, I began to get excited. Suddenly, on Thursday, I became ill. Unable to move at various times, between Thursday and yesterday, I began to doubt if I would be able to participate today. The pain was unbearable.

Thankfully, God heard my prayers. He knew my heart’s desires, and He gave me the temporary relief I needed at the right time. We shared more than A SPOT OF TEA. We laughed, prayed, thanked God, and supported one another.

I prayed that my pain would subside, long enough to serve my beautiful ladies. The TEA was from 12pm- 2pm. My pain kicked in again, at 230pm. This was not coincidence, it was God. I am greatful for the path God has lead for me. I love my new church home, I love to do the work of the Lord, by serving others, I love the Women of St. Ambrose, and am proud to lead these beautiful women of God.

Although having two events two consecutive weeks was a lot of work, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am Thankful and Blessed to Walk in My Prayerful Purpose. It’s been a long and busy day. Now, as I wind down, I reflect on the planning of today’s envent, it’s time for pain meds and bed. Have an amazing Sunday on Purpose. You Matter.

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
