Day 5: The Evil of the world affects our mental health

People do not understand the mental anguish that it caused when someone feels helpless in situations, they have no control of. I am trying all I can to listen to the words of God in John 16:1-15. It is difficult, however, for me to focus on my faith and the promises of God, when I am witnessing my son become frustrated, defeated, and used as a pawn in this evil scheme. I have raised my children to be respectful, honest, kindhearted and loving. I understand that I am not always able to protect them from the EVIL of this world, but I definitely will never allow them to fight the EVIL alone. The enemy, according to John 16, will attack, destroy, and kill by attacking what and who you love.

My son is being used to allow Evil to win, and I feel helpless. I am doing all I can to remain in the will of God, while still fighting for my son, however it is difficult. My heart aches for not only my son, but for all of the other unsuspecting people who fall victim to the Evil of this world. I am further anxious for those who have no one to fight for them…for they are all alone; allowing EVIL to prevail.

Father, I ask that you give me the strength to be strong and fight for my son. Allow my loving spirit to shine in spite of me falling for the trick of the enemy. Please send your angels to fight for me, while I rejuvenate my spirit. You have entrusted my children to my care, and although they are what THE WORLD considers an adult, they are still inexperienced in many matters and need MOM to show up. I know in my heart, that you have given me a strong voice, an empathetic heart, and a spirit of love for a PURPOSE. I ask forgiveness for the times that my passion overtakes my Godly Spirit, and I pray that you give me the strength to allow your spirit within me, to always speak words of love, compassion, and wisdom. Please protect our most vulnerable victims from the scammers that seek to destroy them and surround them with people who will advocate for them when facing injustice.

Amen.

If, as adults, we need assistance to achieve justice, how can we not expect our young adults, who are less experienced, to not need assistance? It’s time for us to come together to win against the EVIL that seeks to destroy us. Together, we can HEAL.
