DON’T LOSE FOCUS!

HAPPY MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH!

Day 29: Beware of the ENEMY

As we approach the final days of the month, I continue to see the importance of keeping my focus on God and being aware of the ENEMY. Even with all that is happening in my life, I keep telling myself, “DON’T LOSE FOCUS“! Through the good days and bad days, I DON’T LOSE FOCUS. When the enemy comes against me, I DON’T LOSE FOCUS. Through the gains and the losses, I DON’T LOSE FOCUS. Even when the evil of this world attempts to tear me down and break my spirit, I DON’T LOSE FOCUS.

This life has become like a whirlwind. All that we go through begins to come at us faster than we can manage. We often begin to feel defeated before we even begin. If we succumb to it, the evil of this world will have us believing that we have to become like the evil we fight in order to survive in this difficult world. No matter how easy it is to give up, I keep pushing so that I DON’T LOSE FOCUS.

As I go about the rest of this day, although there are various challenges ahead, I pray, lift up my head, read God’s word, and cry. The tears I shed are not tears of sorrow. The tears I shed are of thanks and praise. I shed these tears because I remember the days gone by. I remember the days that I DID lose focus, and I shed tears of thanks. I am thankful for all the time that I did lose focus, yet God corrected my path. I remember the times that I was angry, unforgiving, hurt, and afraid. I remember the times that I lost focus…I almost gave up. As I reflect on every trial and triumph, and everything that is sent to distract me, I am determined to regain my focus and never lose focus again.

While you are going through your battle with the enemy, be sure that you DON’T LOSE FOCUS. Have an amazing day and a Thankful Thursday on Purpose.

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
