Repeat Trauma

The most traumatic heartbreak thus far for me, wasn’t seeing my children broken hearted. It wasn’t the abandonment.  Nope, it wasnt the lies or the infidelity.  It was the betrayal. People will beg us to trust them.  Against our better judgment we lower our defenses, and then BOOM! 😪🤯

Loving and trusting after trauma is tough enough, but to have someone hurt you after you’ve cried to them about what you’ve been through, is a different level of hurt. Repeat trauma doesn’t mean it’s easier to get over, it means it takes longer to heal each time. Eventually, it gets better, but the recovery time extends.

Together, we can heal.

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!

Defy the Stigma!

Published by dyingtobeperfect1926

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
