HOMELESSNESS IS A REALITY

I’m facing my fears on this Friday!

Transparency:

The reason I’ve been so anxious, is because I’ll be on my girlfriend’s couch…floor…or whatever, until my house is ready in 30-60 days. No worries, however, this is just another inconvenience. I know it’s temporary, and I’m thankful; yet it doesn’t remove the discomfort. I’m tired; yet I’ll keep pushing. I see everything coming together for my family and I.

I NEED YALL TO KNOW THAT LIFE IS DIFFICULT FOR ALOT OF PEOPLE. JUST BECAUSE WE ENJOY LIFE DOESN’T MEAN WE DON’T STRUGGLE…HURT…FALL. IT SIMPLY MEANS THAT WE UNDERSTAND, AND WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT YOU’RE NOT ALONE.

I share this with you because this move that I’m going through, is my fifth move in seven years. This is the third time I’ve faced homelessness. THIS IS REAL LIFE. This is MY reality. HOMELESSNESS IS A REALITY FOR ME. I didn’t bring it on myself…it wasn’t my doing. Homelessness is real. I haven’t ever lived on the street, but there are many who look like me that do. Things are not always what they seem. Stop thinking that everything is black and white, because it’s not.

To everyone who is facing their situation alone, I’m praying for you. This is why I praise God so much, because I know things could be worse. Life is hard, but keep praying. Things will work out. Keep going. Your breakthrough is on the way. I am thankful to have people in my life who love me…stick by me…pray for me. I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for all of us.

Have an amazing Friday on Purpose, and remember: FACE YOUR FEARS!

Together, we can heal!

GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!

Defy the Stigma!

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
