The tears…

The pills…

I REMEMBER–

The heartache…

The loneliness…

The fear…

I REMEMBER–

The vomiting…

The ambulance…

The judgement…

I REMEMBER–

The lies…

The whispers…

The shame…

I REMEMBER IT ALL

Thankfully, through healing, I am no longer stifled by what I REMEMBER. God has turned all that I REMEMBER into what propells me to live, and love life, regardless of my past. Because of the ugliness that I remember, I tell my story…not for sympathy or attention, but to prevent others from going down the dark hole where I once resided. Today, I REMEMBER so that others won’t have to.
