Martin Prayed

If praying, and singing spirituals, got our ancestors through, they’ll get us through too. If praying, protesting, and praising God, gave Martin, Harriett, and Malcom the will to fight, we should trust in God instead of worrying, and staying up at night. On this second day of Black History Month, keep on praising, praying, and trusting God. He will make a way. We serve the same God that was served many years ago. Keep praying, and let’s come together and heal.

“Martin Luther King Jr. (born Michael King Jr.; January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American Baptist minister, activist, and political philosopher who was one of the most prominent leaders in the civil rights movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968. King advanced civil rights for people of color in the United States through the use of nonviolent resistance and nonviolent civil disobedience against Jim Crow laws and other forms of legalized discrimination.” (Wikipedia)

Martin Prayed; we can too.

Where would we be if he gave up? We must stay the course. Together, we can heal.

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!

Defy the Stigma!

Published by dyingtobeperfect1926

I am a recently single mother of four wonderful adult children. I love young people and have a passion for developing and motivating people. After spending over thirty years in the customer service industry, and my world was suddenly turned upside down, I found myself having to start my life over. Realizing that I could no longer maintain a healthy mental state while working with the public, I decided to use my passion for helping people and motivating US to turn our PAIN INTO POWER.
